Partnership with China Telecom and HiNet offers data recovery as a monthly subscription
service

utilities for PCs and networks has announced two new partnerships with international
service providers to deliver Personal Disaster Recovery™ to over 8 million Internet
subscribers in China and Taiwan.
FarStone has signed
agreements with China Telecom Ltd. and HiNet Internet Services (Taiwan) to offer personal
disaster recovery to over 8.3 million customers as a monthly subscription service. Seeking
to build their subscriber bases and premium services to grow revenues beyond standard
subscriptions, FarStone will provide both ISPs with RestoreIT xSP software technology,
program development, and other services.

fastest growing Internet geographies in the world, the Asia/Pacific market leads the world
in high-speed Internet access. “We see penetration into this region as an important
part of our strategy to make recovery software as pervasive as antivirus software. Both
China Telecom and HiNet were seeking differentiators that will provide a new revenue stream
